Law 27 of 2022 sets no date for forming its data protection institution. 17 October 2024 is the end of the two-year adjustment period for controllers and processors (Article 74). The Instruments page said "The agency had not been formed by that deadline" and the Method page said "The deadline to form it was 17 October 2024". Both now say the law sets no date for forming it and that 17 October 2024 ended the adjustment period. The reference title on the Method page no longer adds "batas waktu pembentukan lembaga 17 Oktober 2024".
Correction to the entry "A 72-hour breach clock, and nobody to call": a failure to notify a breach falls in the GDPR's lower fine tier, up to 10 million euros or 2% of worldwide annual turnover (Article 83(4)(a)), not the 4% tier, which covers infringements such as the basic principles and data subjects' rights (Article 83(5)). No other entry fact changed.
